Canonsburg Resident Addresses Women in Business about Finances

IRWIN, Pa. – Mary G. Bachorski, of Canonsburg, Pa., spoke to women business owners at the Norwin Chamber of Commerce about the importance of keeping personal and business finances separate.

Bachorski made the presentation on behalf of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Speakers Bureau. The presentation was also part of Norwin’s Women in Business Initiative, a monthly seminar that provides tips to women on a variety of financial topics.

Bachorski is a manager with Horovitz, Rudoy & Roteman in Pittsburgh. She was a 2008 recipient of the Volunteer Service Award from PICPA’s Pittsburgh Chapter.

PICPA Speakers Bureau members make presentations on personal finance and business topics to various community, educational, and civic groups. Topics include saving for college, retirement planning, tax, budgeting, and accounting education.
